The Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) Office provides proactive services and assistance to maintain safe and healthy campuses. From injury prevention programs to audits and inspections, EH&S can provide training and consultative assistance on a wide range of issues concerning the safety and wellness of faculty, staff, and students.

Audits and Inspections

EH&S audits and inspections are a valuable leading indicator tool to assess the safety risks in your area and allow for a proactive approach to safety and compliance. EH&S conducts frequent informal inspections of offices, laboratories, shops, mechanical spaces, classrooms, and common areas to ensure safe operations.

Training

Training is a vital component of maintaining a safe and healthy campus and is often required by law. It is everyone's responsibility to understand and follow the laws that govern the work that we perform. Following the completion of a Job Hazard Analysis, EH&S will provide the appropriate training to employees based on the identified hazards in their work environment.
