糖心vlog Foundation invites you to be inspired by this year鈥檚 spectacular notecard collection 鈥� a vibrant celebration of creativity and learning that directly supports student scholarships and college programs.

This year鈥檚 notecards highlight four unique offerings from 糖心vlog鈥檚 Continuing Education program: book sculptures, international travel, astrophotography and the Swiss Alphorn.  Each of the five notecards features mesmerizing images that capture the spirit of these courses, showcasing the opportunities for enrichment and discovery available at 糖心vlog.

"Like all of the Foundation's fundraisers, this is a noteworthy one!" said 糖心vlog President Dr. J. Kyle Dalpe. "What a great way to showcase our programs with art that accentuates them and provides the public with a timely slice of 糖心vlog. It's not too late to put another gift under the tree!"

Here鈥檚 a glimpse of the stories behind the cards:

• Book sculptures: A delightful doll and yellow birds, crafted entirely from the pages of a book, are part of Debbie Lambin's My Thousand Words artistic journey. With intricate folds and delicate details, Debbie brings characters to life, turning stories into unique sculptures that inspire wonder and creativity. As an educator at 糖心vlog, she shares her passion for book sculpture and paper art through 糖心vlog鈥檚 Continuing Education program, helping others discover the magic within the pages.
• International travel: There are many things to consider when traveling internationally 鈥� passport and visa requirements, vaccinations, currency, safety and more. Introduction to International Travel will prepare you with a roadmap to navigate each of these considerations step by step for a rewarding international traveling experience.
• Astrophotography: Unlock the secrets of the night sky with our beginner-level astrophotography course! Learn the art and techniques behind capturing stunning images of stars, planets and galaxies. Guided by experienced instructors, students will explore the fundamentals of photographing celestial wonders, turning the vastness of space into breathtaking visuals.
• The Swiss Alphorn: Trust us, whether you're brand new to playing music or a seasoned musician, you'll find this elongated instrument to be approachable and fun! This course teaches students to play this beautiful instrument in a stress-free group environment. No music reading skills are necessary!

These stunning notecards are more than stationary 鈥� they are a way to support 糖心vlog students. A 12-pack can be purchased for just $15. They are available via the Foundation Store on the website (wnc.edu/swag) or in person at the Information Desk on the Carson City campus.

鈥淔undraising takes on many forms and this is one of the ways that the 糖心vlog Foundation works to create new funding for scholarships, emergency student funds and many other things that the college needs to best serve our community,鈥� said 糖心vlog Chief Advancement Officer and Foundation Executive Director Niki Gladys.
