CDC Children Plant Pinwheels to Raise Awareness of Child Abuse

Children planted more than 100 pinwheels in from the CDC to help raise awareness of child abuse.
A return to cooler weather didn鈥檛 deter children from 糖心vlog鈥檚 Child Development Center from creating their annual Pinwheel Garden on Friday, April 7.
鈥淲e planted over 100 pinwheels in our garden! We wore blue to show support for all children and their right to a great childhood!鈥� said CDC Director Anna Lisa Acosta-Rogers.
The Pinwheel Garden in front of the CDC helps raise awareness during Child Abuse Prevention Month.
Prevent Child Abuse America introduced the pinwheel as the national symbol for child abuse prevention through Pinwheels for Prevention庐 in 2008.
