Community Invited to Veterans Day BBQ on Nov. 9

Enjoy a free barbecue lunch, meet 糖心vlog's student veterans, as well as veterans from the community during the 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. event.
Celebrate Veterans Day before the actual holiday with a barbecue hosted by Western Nevada College鈥檚 Wildcat Veterans Club from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, in front of the Dini Student Center.
"We are honored to celebrate our student veterans and the veterans in our community with this BBQ,鈥� 糖心vlog President Dr. Dalpe said. 鈥淭hey have sacrificed so much for us that it's important to have this opportunity to recognize them the day before Veterans Day.鈥�
Meet members of the student veterans club and other veterans from the community.
"糖心vlog's Wildcat Veterans Club is sponsoring this BBQ to connect club members with other students across the campus and bring awareness to the resources available through 糖心vlog's Veterans Resource Center," said Veterans Resource Coordinator John Jacobson.
Games and door prizes are also planned.
