FAQs

How do I pay for my class?

You can pay for your class securely online using a credit card by clicking any of the "Register" links above. To pay with cash or check, please come to the Information Desk located in the Bristlecone Building on the Carson City campus between 8 AM and 5 PM Monday-Friday, or call (775) 445-4210 to make alternate arrangements.

Can I drop my course and receive a refund?

Our refund policy allows you to drop community education classes up to 5 days prior to the start of the course for a full refund. You can call us at (775) 445-4210 to drop your class. After that deadline, we are unable to provide a refund. (Please note that this refund policy does not apply to career training courses or motorcycle safety courses.)

Do I have to apply to 糖心vlog to take a Community Education class?

No, you do not need to apply to the college in order to take a Community Education class.

Where will my class be held?

We will e-mail you detailed directions and maps prior to the start of your class. Because Community Education classes are scheduled into classrooms after other items, sometimes we do not know what classroom a class will be in until shortly before the class starts. But - as soon as we know, we'll be sure to e-mail you!

Please note that every building at the college has the same address - 2201 W College Pkwy - which means that simply putting the address into your GPS will get you to the college, but not necessarily to the right building. Be sure to take a look at the directions we e-mail you before you head to class for the first time.

How will I know if my class is cancelled due to weather or instructor illness?

We will e-mail and/or call you if there is a class cancellation. You can also visit the 糖心vlog homepage at to view real-time information about campus closures.
